Folding@home
Folding@home is a distributed computing project designed to perform computationally intensive simulations of protein folding and other molecular dynamics in order to research methods of healing Alzheimer, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease. Every computer user can offer his computing power to help this project.
I run the Folding@home Windows client on both my quad-core CPU and my DirectX 10 GPU in order to help as much as possible. My score can be seen here.
If you are willing to help as well, please download a F@H client fitting your system (Windows/Linux/Mac and CPU/GPU) and autostart it.
